Our aim at Foster’s School of Dance is not only to teach a strong foundation of technique in dance but to also have fun, make new friends, build on confidence and to have an ambition in life.
At Fosters we love taking part in competitions, festivals, dance examinations and performing in many shows. We have also performed on the grid at The British Grand Prix Formula 1 Race Day at Silverstone which was shown on sky 1 and to millions of people at F1. Some of Fosters pupils have also danced at Barcelona and Disneyland Paris. We welcome all levels and ages from beginners to the more advanced. Our classes are structured around the IDTA syllabus.
Amy Foster AIDTA – PRINCIPAL
LEVEL 4 DIPLOMA IDTA BALLET, MODERN JAZZ, ASSOCIATE FREESTYLE, TAP. AAC1 ACROBATIC ARTS, HIGHER NATIONAL CERTIFICATE & HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN PROFESSIONAL DANCE.
Amy first opened Foster’s School of Dance in 2011. Amy is a qualified member of the International Dance Teachers Association, and is continuing her studies within the association to fulfil her goals of becoming an examiner in the future.
The students of Foster’s have performed at Silverstone Formula 1, Disney Land Paris and in Spain as well as many local Theatres. Many students regularly compete in competitions and festivals. All students regularly take IDTA examinations in all subjects and have 100% pass rate.
Amy has also completed training with Acrobatic Arts for her acro qualification, fully qualified and experienced dance teacher with all relevant insurances, DBS checked and first aid.
Amy is a passionate dance teacher who pushers her students to be the best they can be.
